6.41 - Rather it is Him Whom you should call, so He would remove that for which you call if He willed, and you would forget that which you associate (with Him). 6.42 - And We have certainly sent (messengers) to nations before you then We seized them with hardship and tribulation that perhaps they might humble themselves. 6.43 - And had they, when Our hardship came to they, humbled themselves, but their hearts became hardened and the devil decorated for them that which they used to do. 6.44 - So when they forgot that by which they were reminded, We opened upon them the doors of everything until, when they rejoiced in what they were given, We seized them suddenly, and at once they were confused. 6.45 - So the people who were unjust were eliminated. And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 6.46 - Say: Have you considered, if Allah should take away your hearing and your visions and set upon your hearts a seal, which god other than Allah could bring them to you? Look how We explain the signs, then they turn away. 6.47 - Say: Have you considered, if the torture of Allah came to you suddenly or publicly, will anyone be destroyed except the unjust people? 6.48 - And We do not send the messengers except as givers of good tidings and warners. So whoever believes and amends, then no fear will be upon them nor will they grieve. 6.49 - And those who have rejected Our signs, torture will touch them because they used to disobey. 6.50 - Say: I do not say to you that I have the treasures of Allah, and I do not know the unseen, and I do not say to you that I am an angel. I only follow that which is revealed to me. Say: Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Will you not then think?
