43.31 - And they said: Why was this Quran not sent down upon a great man from the two villages? 43.32 - Do they distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We Who have distributed among them their livelihood in the life of this world and have raised some of them above others in degrees that some of them may take others for ridicule. And the mercy of your Lord is better than what they gather. 43.33 - And if it was not that the people would become a single nation (in disbelief), We would have surely made for those who have disbelieved in the Compassionate, for their houses a ceiling from silver and elevations upon which they appear. 43.34 - And for their houses, doors and couches upon which they recline. 43.35 - And an ornament; and all that is only an enjoyment of the life of this world, but the hereafter with your Lord will be for the pious. 43.36 - And whoever lives while disregarding of the remembrance of the Compassionate, We appoint for him a devil, so he is to him a comrade. 43.37 - And indeed, they hinder them from the way while they think that they are guided. 43.38 - Until when he comes to Us, he says: I wish there was between me and you the distance of the two easts; and miserable is the comrade. 43.39 - And never will it benefit you that day since you did injustice; indeed, you are in the torture, partners. 43.40 - So, will you make the deaf hear or guide the blind and one who is in obvious misguidance?
