2.281 - And fear a day on which you will be returned to Allah; then every soul will be fully paid for what it earned, and they will not be dealt with unjustly. 2.282 - O you who have believed! When you owe others a debit for a specified time, then write it down. And let a writer from among you to write (it) in justice. And let no writer decline to write (it) as Allah has taught him. So let him write and let the one upon whom is the burden to dictate (it). And he should fear Allah, his Lord, and not diminish therefrom a thing. But if the one upon whom is the burden, is mentally disable or weak or he is not able to dictate himself, then his guardian should dictate in justice. And bring to testify two witnesses from among your men; but if they are not two men, then one man and two women from among those whom you approved to be witnesses, so that if one of them (the two female witnesses) errs, then the other should remind her. And let not the witnesses decline when they are called upon; and do not hate to write it, whether it is small or large until its specified time. That is more just with Allah and more suitable for testimony, and more likely that you may not doubt between you. Except when it is an immediate trading which you conduct among yourselves, for then there should be no blame upon you if you do not write it. And have witnesses when you trade with one another; and let no writer be harmed or any witness; but if you do then it is disobedience by you. And fear Allah; and Allah teaches you. And Allah is of everything Knowing. 2.283 - And if you are on a journey and you do not find a writer, then a security deposit should be taken; but if one of you entrusts another, then the one who is entrusted should honour his trust, and he should fear Allah, his Lord. And do not conceal testimony. And whoever conceals it, then indeed, his heart is sinful. And Allah is, of what you do, Knowing. 2.284 - To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth; and whether you make public what is in yourself or conceal it, Allah will hold you to account for it. And He forgives whom He wills and castigates whom He wills; and Allah is over everything Capable. 2.285 - The messenger believed in what was sent down to him from his Lord, and the believers; all believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers. We (the believers) make no distinction between any of His messengers; and they (the believers) said: We heard and obeyed, (we seek) Your forgiveness our Lord, and to You is the destination. 2.286 - Allah does not impose upon a soul except its capacity. For it, is what it earned, and against it, is what it earned. Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not make us carry a burden as You made those before us to carry. Our Lord! Do not impose upon us that for which we do not have strength to bear; and pardon us and forgive us and grant us mercy. You are our Guardian, so help us against the disbelieving people.
