18.31 - It is them for whom there will be gardens of Eden, beneath which rivers flow; they will be adorned therein by bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on recliners. Excellent is the reward and good is the resting place. 18.32 - And strike for them an example of two men: We made for one of them two gardens of vines and surrounded them with palm trees and made between them plants. 18.33 - Each of both gardens yielded their food and did not fail short thereof anything, and We caused to gush forth within them a river. 18.34 - And he had plant produce, so he said to his companion while he debated him: I am greater than you in wealth and mightier in manpower. 18.35 - And he entered his garden while he was unjust to himself. He said: I do not think that these will ever perish. 18.36 - And I do not think the hour will occur; and even if I should be returned to my Lord, I will surely find better than this as a return. 18.37 - His companion said to him while he debated him: Have you disbelieved in the One Who created you from dust then from a drop then fashioned you (as) a man? 18.38 - But as for me, He is Allah, my Lord, and I do not associate with my Lord anyone. 18.39 - And why, when you entered your garden, did you not say: This is what Allah willed, there is no power except in Allah? Even if you see me lesser than you in wealth and children. 18.40 - And hopefully my Lord will give me better than your garden and send upon it a calamity from the sky, so it will become a dusty ground.
